Beginner Black Friday Rules
1. You can email more than usual on Black Friday — BUT…
If you haven’t been emailing consistently, stick to 2–3 emails max for the day.
Your audience needs to warm up to you again.
2. Don’t get discouraged.
Don’t compare your results to businesses who’ve been emailing weekly for months.
You are just getting started. Every email is a step in the right direction.
3. Don’t send Black Friday emails and then disappear.
Use this weekend as your jumpstart. Keep showing up weekly in December.
(Your future self will thank you.)
4. On Monday, check your analytics.
Look at:
opens
clicks
conversions
unsubscribes
This teaches you what content your audience actually responds to.
5. You don’t need a big list.
Got 20 people on your list? Send the email. You never know who’s ready to buy.
That’s It For This Week
Good luck on Black Friday and see ya next week!
